Behind The Spooks Comic PDF (issue: zero)

A goth, a witch, and a big mistake. The story of two girls in a dangerous magic other-realm that accidentally release a deadly curse on the world.

I wrote/drew/assembled all of this story for my art final my junior year of high School. I made it with the intention of A.) releasing this story into the world because I had come up with so much plot that it was making my brain lag and B.) to learn how to make a comic! I had never ever before even so much as made anything beyond a few paneled strip- so this was a challenge to myself.

Looking back on it now, I’ve improved very much since this was made. I’ve learned much about pacing, framing, just drawing in general. However, I still love this story (despite it’s flaws) and it holds a special place in my heart.

Someday soon I plan on going back to the drawing board and redoing this in a much cleaner, more developed way. I daintily will not be letting this story die! But for now...
